Prices and booking

How much does it cost to send boxes to Scotland?

Kerbside collection of up to 4 boxes, bags or suitcases costs £149 including VAT, in either direction. Ten pieces cost £239, twenty cost £359. Assisted, where a two-person crew carries everything from inside, starts at £299.

Is there a booking fee or card fee?

No. The price in the booking form is the full price. It includes VAT, payment fees and standard cover.

Can I pay cash or by bank transfer?

Bookings are paid online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link when you book. That is what keeps the admin small and the prices low.

Can I cancel?

Yes, free of charge until the booking cutoff: 12:00 two days before your collection day. After cutoff the run is planned and loaded around your booking, so it is no longer refundable.

Can I add items after booking?

Yes. Reply to your confirmation email with what you want to add and we will send a payment link for the difference. Do it before the cutoff.

The run model

Why can't I choose my own date?

Your postcode decides the day: Cambridge Tuesdays, London Wednesdays, Scotland Thursdays, Oxford and Swindon Saturdays. One van, one route, full both ways is why 10 boxes costs £239 and not a van day rate.

How often do runs leave?

Fortnightly. The booking form and the run dates page show the next three open runs for your postcodes with exact dates.

How long does my stuff take?

Northbound: 5 to 9 days from collection to the Thursday delivery, depending on your postcode day. Southbound: 2 days to Oxford and Swindon, 5 to Cambridge, 6 to London.

Where is my stuff between legs?

At our secure Oxfordshire hub. Every piece is labelled with your reference, checked in on arrival and checked out on loading.

Do you do the Highlands, Aberdeen or Dundee?

Not yet. We cover G, FK and EH postcodes. Join the waitlist in the booking form and we will email you when your area opens.

Kerbside and Assisted

What exactly does Kerbside mean?

You bring everything to your front door (ground level access) and one driver loads it. It is the cheapest way to travel and perfect for boxes and bags you can carry yourself.

What does Assisted include?

A two-person crew comes inside and carries everything out, on any floor, at both ends if you need it. From £299, plus a stairs charge per end where there is no lift: £15 for 2nd or 3rd floor, £30 for 4th and above.

Can I send furniture on Kerbside?

Small furniture yes, if it is at the door ready to lift: think desk chair, bedside table, TV in a box. If it needs carrying from inside, choose Assisted.

Packing and items

What counts as a piece?

Any box, bag or suitcase up to 30 kg. Bikes and small furniture are priced separately and never eat into your piece count.

Do I need special boxes?

No. Any sturdy box, holdall, rucksack or suitcase is fine. Write your booking reference on each piece; we bring labels on the day too.

How should I send a bike?

Pedals off if you can and bars turned. A bike box or bag is welcome but not required. Bikes are £59 each.

What can I not send?

Liquids, large batteries, perishables, cash, jewellery and hazardous items. The full prohibited items list explains why and what to do instead.

Is my stuff insured?

Standard cover of £50 per piece is included. If something is worth more than that, it should travel with you, not on the van.

On the day

When will you arrive?

You get a 4-hour window by text the evening before each leg, collection and delivery. The driver calls or texts when they are close.

What if I miss the collection?

Text or call the number in your window message as early as you can. Before cutoff we can move you to the next run free. On the day, a missed collection usually means waiting for the next run.

Can someone else hand over or receive my pieces?

Yes. Put their name and number in the booking notes and make sure they have your reference.
