Covering: Summerston, Cadder.
The local landmark: The Forth and Clyde Canal towpath runs along the edge of the district at Cadder.
On the ground: Mostly 1970s terraces, semis and four-in-a-block flats with driveways or short front paths, so door access is straightforward. Kerbside works well here: have everything at the door and the driver loads.
While you wait for the van: The Forth and Clyde Canal beside Cadder reopened to boats in 2001 after the Millennium Link restoration.
