Doorstep collection in Cambridge on Tuesdays, delivered to the door in Edinburgh on the Thursday run. From £149 including VAT, £50 cover per piece included.
A steady academic lane, mostly postdocs and PhD students moving between two university cities with more books than anything else.
Collections run on Tuesdays from Arbury down to Addenbrooke's and the Biomedical Campus. At the far end, Thursday morning deliveries thread through Marchmont and Newington, where half of Edinburgh's students seem to live.
A typical booking on this lane: Eighteen small boxes of books, a suitcase and a folding bike from a flat in Petersfield, dropped near the Meadows in Edinburgh.. The booking form counts your exact pieces and shows the total live before you pay, and the price is identical in both directions.

As soon as your dates firm up. Runs are fortnightly and capacity is limited, so the Tuesday you want can fill, and booking closes at midday two days before collection.
